TOMBRACK MOVED through to a second round tie with Shelbourne in the Under-14 Cup when eventually overcoming St. Leonards 2-1.

Bronagh O'Connor scored for the visitors, but goals from Kellie Murphy and Georgina Creane put the home side through.

St. Cormac's had to to come from behind and go to extra-time before eventually beating Division 2 side North End. Lisa Goodison put the Wexford town side ahead, but two goals from Michelle Gahan and one from Orla Breen put St. Cormac's in the last eight.

Premier side Ferns United were far too strong for Kilmore United and ran out 9-1 winners, with Joanna Cousins scoring for the losers, but four goals from Rita Fortune, two each from Gemma Kehoe and Mary Tyrrell, and one from Leona Breen put the cup favourites comfortably through to the quarterfinals.

Adamstown also made it through to the last eight when travelling to Forth Celtic for their re-fixed tie and coming away 4-0 winners thanks to a hat-trick from Katie White and a goal from Hannah Quill despite the best efforts of Forth Celtic sweeper, Caoimhe Dunne.
