Courtown's run is ended
WEXFORD'S PARTICIPATION in the FAI Junior Cup was ended on Sunday as sole remaining representatives Courtown Hibs were beaten 2-1 by Castleisland in the sixth round.
Hibs got off to a great start, with Eugene O'Brien giving them the lead in the third minute, but the hosts fought back to lead 2-1 at half-time.
On a heavy pitch, Courtown tried valiantly to fight their way back into the tie in the second-half but couldn't force an equaliser.
