Easy for Oulart flyers
THE RESULT was a foregone conclusion by the end of the opening quarter as Oulart-The-allagh totally dominated this one-sided game, eventually emerging with a comprehensive 24-point victory over a weak Faythe Harriers side in this Captain Michael Baker Under-21 hurling Premier championship quarter-final at Páirc Charman on Monday of last week.
By the end of the opening quarter they had built up an unassailable 1-8 to 0-2 lead, the goal courtesy of full-forward Darren Murphy.
Their second goal arrived in the 24th minute through Murphy again while, close to the break, he added his third, leaving them leading by 3-13 to 0-3 at the interval.
The traffic remained all one-way on the resumption.
