Wednesday August 25 2010
A HEART-BROKEN family is set to bring a young woman who died in England home for burial in Galbally. Twenty-seven year old Anne Marie Morrissey was discovered dead after dropping out of contacts for a period. Her family was informed of the tragedy by Gardaí on Friday evening and the news was broken to parishioners in her home parish over the weekend.
The deceased is a daughter of Margaret (née Hartigan) and the late Willie Morrissey, and it is expected that she will be buried with her father in Galbally cemetery. Her mother, who is being comforted by her family, moved from the village to a house in nearby Ballyhogue earlier this year.
Anne Marie is survived by her brothers Willie and Tommy, and by her sisters Margaret and Mary Rose. No details of the funeral arrangements were available at time of going to press.
