Search for Kenneth ends as his body is identified
MURDER INVESTIGATION REMAINS FOUND IN DUBLIN MOUNTAINS

THE REMAINS found in the Dublin mountains over the weekend have been confirmed as those of Kenneth Fetherston, whose red Honda Civic was found abandoned on the Gorey bypass four days after he disappeared in September last year.
The 26-year-old father of one from Tallaght in Dublin from was last seen in Dublin on September 22, 2009. An two day extens ive search of the area around t h e southbound layby of the Gorey bypass was conducted in the days following the discovery of the car, but proved fruitless
The car with the registration plate 93 D 44862 was found in
the layby at Ashwood Lower, one kilometre north of the Inch junction the following Saturday, September 26. The very distinctive car had the words 'For Sale' and a mobile phone number printed in the rear window. It was later revealed the blood was found in the boot of the car.
Last Sunday his body was found near an area known as Viewing Point on Military Road in Rathfarnham by a member of the public.
A murder investigation has been launched and Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
