The gates will close for the last time at the warehouse in Rathnure later this month after a winding up sale that begins at the weekend. THE memory of the late Billy 'Hutchy' Dwyer will be recalled on the hurling field as his former team mates meet in Bellefield on St. Patrick's Day. Proceeds of the game at 5.30 p.m. on Saturday, March 17 between the Rapparees and the Shamrocks will be handed to the Slaney Search & Rescue organisation which recovered Hutchy's body from the river in November 2002 at the age of 33.

'Our wedding here was a perfect day which was helped by the fact that food was fantastic. Service and personal attention given to us by staff was brilliant. There was such a personal touch to it all. Nothing was a problem for the staff, if asked to help out with something. As a bride, I was made feel like a queen from the night before the wedding when I arrived with my family until the moment I left with my husband three days later. Our honeymoon suite included a very big and comfortable four-poster bed with a very beautiful view of the surrounding wooded mountainside. What a very warm, personal, charming and beautiful experience we had here. Our special day spent here will always be a wonderful memory for us. If anyone out there is looking for that personal touch to a wedding, or that intimate atmosphere, then this is the place. We had 92 people to our wedding and every single person there on the day, went away fantastic and positive comments about this hotel.'
