No NCT

A €300 fine was imposed on a 21-year-old Gorey man at Gorey District Court last week, after he appeared before the court on a charge of not having an NCT on his car.
Judge Coughlan was told that the NCT on the car of Robert Ireton of Knockavota, Gorey, had expired by eight months when he was stopped by Gardai at Esmonde Street, Gorey, on April 12 last. He had no previous convictions, and the court was told he was booked in for an NCT test.
