Denis takes top job in Wicklow Chamber
AN ENTERPRISING Enniscorthy man has taken over at the helm of the chamber of commerce in Wicklow town.
Thirty-four-year-old business man Denis Fielding hails from Summerhill but now has his own business in Wicklow.
The respect in which he is held in the town where he has resided since 1999 was reflected by his election as president of the chamber.
He is son of well known Enniscorthy couple Larry and Caroline Fielding, and he has two brothers, PJ and John, as well as three sisters; Laura, Carol and Michelle.
Educated at the C.B.S. in Enniscorthy, he then obtained a diploma in computer applications from Skerry's College in Cork.
Denis later went to work for the giant Dell computer firm in Bray before moving to the D.C.B. Group.
However, he launched his own successful Acuity SOS IT Solutions company four years ago.
He is married to Olivia and has two children, daughter Hannah (7) and son Deon (2). He first joined the Wicklow chamber of commerce early in 2006 and has been actively involved in the organisation ever since.
