Connections with Georgia
LINKS PAST and present between County Wexford and Georgia in the United States will be explored by the Very Reverend Lori Kehoe in his talk to the Uí Cinsealaigh historical society tonight (Wednesday, March 3) at the Riverside Park hotel. The lecture is entitled 'Wexford Savannah Connections'. Savannah has a population of around 132,000 and each March it hosts the second largest Saint Patrick's Day parade in the U.S.A. This year's parade will feature the Carrigbyrne choir under the leadership of Bill Murray. The talk in the Riverside starts at 8 p.m.
