TALENTED ACTS from all over County Wexford are off to the national senior youth club variety finals in Limerick after the qualifying event in Clonroche.
The show, hosted by the Ferns diocesan youth service, was introduced by Ray Quigley, with Teresa Buckley and Liz Dermody as adjudicators. Winners were: spotlight – Bree (Joseph Hogan, John Hogan); solo singing – Courtnacuddy (Lorne Deegan); group instrumental – Caim (Cliodhna Colclough, Katie Crean, Kate Mooney); show dance – Terrerath (Danielle Barden, Elizabeth Martin Carroll, Ellen Dillon, Amy Larkin, Shauna Leacy, Georgina Murphy, Hannah Murphy, Ellen O'Brien, Ellen Maguire, Katherine Maguire); comedy – Ballygarrett (Shane Quinn, Darren Morris, Denis Redmond, Cathal Brady, Darragh Cahill, Brian O'Connor and Conor Maher).
