FLANAGANS is one of the longest established names in the family entertainment business in the South East.

Based at Courtown and Wexford Town, Flanagan's is synonymous with customer care, entertainment and relaxation.

Flanagan's Wharf opened 44 years ago in Courtown, and has been a staple of many family holidays to the ever popular seaside resort ever since.

Flanagan's Entertainment Centre opened in Wexford town around 30 years ago, and its central base at 118 South Main Street is ideally located for taking some time out from a busy day.

Both businesses are family run, and have established themselves as a trusted name in the industry.

Flanagan's Wharf in Courtown offers entertainment for all the family, with the latest video and interactive games and machines at the front ideal for people of all ages, and Wacky World upstairs offering a great facility for youngsters to let off some steam.

Flanagan's also contains a licensed casino, which is open to anyone over 18. Flanagan's in Wexford town is also open to those over 18, as it too offers a comprehensive casino in a comfortable and luxurious environment.

The business was established by Tom Flanagan, and is now run by his sons Nigel and Tom. The younger Tom explains that they have remained true to the ethos of customer care and quality entertainment over the past five decades.

"Over the years we have started up a popular customer loyalty programme, where they get a loyalty card which they swipe and earn points which are redeemable for cash"

Customers are then also entered into free draws throughout the year. "We've given away cash prizes, trips to Vegas, and much more. Last week a customer won € 1200 in a free draw. The jackpot is always climbing until its won".

The casino offers a full range of machines, from slot machines to poker machines, and everything in between.

He points out that a visit to a casino is very different to say, a trip to the bookies. "In a bookies you go in, put on your bet, and that's it. Here, there's much more social interaction between people" says Tom. "It's also a good place to with a group of people while on an evening out".

"We offer a high standard of entertainment and value for money" he adds, "You can come in with a fiver and sit down for an hour, have a bit of fun, and who knows what your luck might be. I suppose we're offering a little bit of Vegas in this corner of Ireland".

Both Flanagan's outlets are open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. 364 days a year.
