A TRIP to the casino can be seen as an alternative to a social outing to a pub or other entertainment venue.

At Flanagan's Entertainment Centre in Wexford town, and Flanagan's Wharf in Courtown, people from the age of eighteen upwards are welcome in to try and have a flutter on the slots or the roulette wheel.

The business is run by Nigel and Tom Flanagan, and Tom believes they offer a fun and entertaining service.

For those who might be intimidated by the wide array of machines on offer, staff are available to help people out, and offer advice on what machines are good to play and which ones might suit them. They can also offer advice on how the roulette wheel works.

A visit to the casino doesn't have to break the bank, and there's no minimum cost of play – some machines take as little as one or two cent.

Tom explains that some people like to try a variety of machines that are on offer, while others prefer to stick to certain machines.

Both venues are centrally located in Courtown and Wexford town, and have started up a popular customer loyalty programme, where they get a card per visit, which they swipe and earn points which are redeemable for cash.

In both towns, Flanagan's are very aware, that as a family business, they are very much part of a community, and over the years, they have supported a wide variety of causes.

Membership is not required to enter the casino, but people can sign up for the loyalty card, which entitles them to enter the free draws and the various promotions.

Flanagan's in Wexford and Courtown are open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. 364 days a year. They can be contacted on (053) 94 25127.
