11 getting into dairy
ELEVEN NEW Wexford dairy farmers have joined the milk industry as Ireland gears up for the removal of EU quotas in 2015. The Model landholders made up just 4.8 per cent of the 230 entrants into the business over the period 20092011, according to Teagasc's Roberta Mcdonald. Of the 11, only six had actually started production by August last year.
