School safety
THE Nunnery Road in Enniscorthy remains a scary place to drive on school days as parents dropping off or collecting children bid to park as close as possible to the gates of St. Aidan's primary.
At 8.55 a.m. last Wednesday, seventeen vehicles were spotted, all pulled up on the double yellow lines, reducing the width of the busy carriageway. A few hours later at 1 p.m., as the infant classes were released from school, more than twenty cars were seen on the double yellow lines.
