Bus To Our Lady's Island On Wednesday 8th September: The bus will collect people in Ballywilliam at 4.30pm and in Rathnure car-park at 5pm. Names are to be given to Theresa McGee: 053 9253271 or Helen Hennessy: 053 9255131. The cost is €6 per person.
Church Gate Collection: The Wexford Branch of Down Syndrome will hold a Church Gate Collection in Rathnure on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September. All money collected stays in the branch to benefit children and adults with Down Syndrome, they organise Christmas and Easter parties, outings to the zoo etc.. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

GAA LOTTO
The numbers drawn on Tuesday 31st for a jackpot of €11,600 were: 3, 19, 30, 32. There was no jackpot winner. James Connick Snr., 3 Fatima Place, Ballywilliam was the only match three winner who received €200.
DANCING CLASSES
The Power School Of Dancing returns with Irish Dancing this Thursday evening from 4.30pm to 5.30pm in Rathnure hall. All new students are very welcome to come along.
POKER CLASSIC
This is on Friday 17th September at 9pm in The Top Place, Ballywilliam. Guaranteed Prize Fund: €1,200. Tickets are available from Siobhán Byrne: 087 7629355 or pay at the door on the night.
There are some fantastic door prizes, including meals for two at local hotels, so even if you can't make it buying a ticket gives you a chance to win.
Proceeds are in aid of Breast Cancer Research and your support would be very appreciated.
FIELD DAY
The Annual Ballywilliam Field Day, Tractor Run and Treashing Display will take place in the Shelburne United pitch, Ballywilliam on Sunday September 12th. There will be lots of stalls and plenty of activities for all the family. All proceeds go to help with the running costs of Shelburne United.
CONCERT EVENING
Local Soprano Joanne McCabe will be holding a benefit concert on September 17th in St. Laurence's Church. Proceeds will be used to further her tuition as a lyric soprano and thus local support is needed.
Tickets are priced at €15 and are available from Fr. O'Connell, Nancy Byrne and Breda & Joe O'Connor.
