Party time for Amanda (21)

WHEN AMANDA Tobin from Knockanure in Bunclody celebrated her 21st birthday at the weekend, she did it in tumultuous style. And her brother Brian certainly played his part, cooking up an amazing chocolate cake to mark the occasion. Her other brother Keith was also to the fore, as he was responsible for the photographs hung around the party room, tracing her development from toddler to teenager.
Amanda, now retired from camogie at least for the moment, is a third year arts student at Maynooth College, where she spends much of her time these days. She is daughter of Evelyn and Gabriel Tobin who were present at the party on Saturday night at the Courtyard in Ferns.
Mark Codd was the deejay and, after he packed up his case of CDs, the party resumed back in Knockanure.
