LONG TIME resident of the Ballagh, Michael Corcoran arrived at The Courtyard in Ferns at the weekend to celebrate a landmark birthday – his sixtieth. He was joined by his partner Dorothy Walsh, his sons and a host of relatives and friends for finger food and a knees-up to the Davitt showband.
Originally from Dublin, lorry driving Michael has been living in County Wexford almost twenty years. Among those who came to Ferns to raise a birthday toast to him were cousins who came from Lancaster in England and Tyrone in the North to be present.
