SILVER MEDAL WINNERS

Congratulations to Michael Kinsella, Tomanoole and Barry Doyle, Coolnahorna who were part of the U-12 cross country relay team who won silver medals in the Leinster Championships held in Kilmacow recently. Well done.

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

The new date for Parish Council Meeting in Castledockrell is tonight (Wednesday March 3) at 8.30 p.m.

TRÓCAIRE BOXES

Trócaire boxes are available at the back of both churches in the parish.

MASS TIMES

Mass will be celebrated in Castledockrell Church on Monday, March 8 and Tuesday, March 9 at 9.30 a.m.

YOUTH CLUB

Youth Club continues Friday nights in Marshalstown Community Centre 6.458.15 p.m. for Juniors and 8.15-10 p.m. for Seniors. Any parents interested in doing leaders course please contact Anne Marie on 086 3146468.

FIRST CONFESSIONS

The children of Marshalstown National School will receive the Sacrament of Confession for the first time on Friday evening March 5. The First Confessions Ceremony for the children of Castledockrell National School will take place on Tuesday evening March 9 at 7 p.m. Let us remember the children and their families at this time.

CAMOGIE

Intermediate, U-18 and U-16 training on Mondays at 7.15 p.m. in Farmleigh. New members always welcome. Membership is now due.

CÓISTE NA NÓG

U-18s have returned training for the year on Thursday nights at 7.30 p.m. in Farmleigh. U-16s are back on Sunday mornings at 11.30 a.m. in Farmleigh.

THE LATE PAT KELLY

Sympathy is extended to Anna Mae Kelly and family, Marshalstown, on the death of her husband Pat Kelly who was laid to rest in Marshalstown Cemetery on Monday following Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Marshalstown. May he Rest in Peace.

FIRST FRIDAY

Friday next March 5 is the First Friday. Mass will be celebrated in Marshalstown Church at 9.30a.m. The sick will be visited with Holy Communion on Friday.

CHILDREN'S DISCO

The children's disco postponed last Sunday will now be held next Sunday March 7 from 3-5p.m. in Marshalstown Community Centre. There will also be face painting, fun and games. A fun day out for all the family.

SOLICITOR

Congratulations to Joan Doyle, Tombrick who recently qualified as a solicitor. We wish her all the best for the future.

SOCCER

The Soccer club extends sympathy to Micheal and Mairead Whelan and their family on their recent bereavement. Lady luck was not on the club last week with all teams on the losing side.
