DOLPHINS PROVIDED the theme for the evening on Saturday as Rapparees camogie player Marguerite Casey celebrated her 21st. The social centre at the GAA complex in Bellefield was festooned with dolphins.

The maritime motif was picked by Marguerite who arranged with brother John and friend Sarah Carley to blow up dolphin balloons and scatter dolphin decorations all around the room. Confectioner and aunty Catherine Murphy went along with the flow, putting dolphins on the cake too.

Against this seaside backdrop, Marguerite â?“ daughter of proud parents Pat Casey and Margaret Kavanagh Casey from Slaney Street â?“ might have been expected to don a rubber swim suit for the occasion. Not a bit of it. Instead, she was delectably dressed in a beautiful silver dress with pink shoes.

Among those bopping along to deejay Tom Reddy were a raft of friends who came from Dublin for the party. Godparents Marie Cline and Toss Kavanagh (from The Springs) also attended.
