WHIST

Top score at last weeks whist was shared by Peg Stafford and Sadie Mordaunt (who we believe hit the 100 mark on Wednesday night last); first lady was Teresa Fitzgerald, second lady was May Murphy and third lady was Peggy O Connor; half time lady was Alice Gibney; first gent was Maeve Tomkins, second gent was Paudie Doyle and third gent was Nancy Forde again; half time gent was Tomas Stedmond.

Raffle winners on the night were Eilish Murphy, Lilly Kavanagh and Mary McCarthy. Whist continues every Wednesday night at 8.30 p.m.

GAA NOTES

The minor hurlers had a good win over OLI/St Fintans on a scoreline of 3-21 to 8 points. The Senior footballers were defeated by Castletown on a scoreline of 5 points to 4

Congratulations to all involved in this years Cul Camp The weather held out for the week but it finally poured on Friday just as the celebration BBQ was ending. Thanks to Matty Forde and Anthony Masterson for coming along on Friday to the Cul Camp.

Meabh would like to thank everybody who helped make this year's Cul Camp an enjoyable sucess.

Thanks to the boys and girls who cooperated happily with all the coaches to the parents who supported the camp with their money and time to the coaches who did such a great job, to all who helped at the BBQ and to those who supplied the goodies and to Aidan Doyle Supervalu who sponsered the burgers.

A special word of appreciation to Kilanerin GAA who facilitated the camp in many ways and also sponsored the bouncing castles.
