CORRECTION
Apologies for the error in last week's advert for Cllr. Robert Ireton, which stated his clinic would be held in Monaseed Community Hall on Thursday. The clinic was in fact held on Friday night, not Thursday.
BADMINTON CLUB
On Saturday February 13 last, players from Monaseed badminton club competed in the Southside Leinster tournament. In U13, the force of Una Sinnott and Karen Kenny put up a fight only to settle for runners up.
There were two strong teams from Monaseed in the U15 category. The team of Peter Wadding and Una Sinnott battled hard and were awarded runners up. Also, the team of Matthew Nolan and Ciaran Lancaster showed their skill and came runners up. Well done to all players involved
CRAANFORD IT CENTRE
There is a new internet and Facebook afternoon class commencing on Tuesday March 9 from 1.30 to 4.30 p.m.
COMMUNITY GAMES
Training for all under 12's girls and boys soccer takes place at 11.15 a.m. every Sunday in Craanford pitch. Call Brian on 086-2259243
CRAFTING CLASSES
Card Making/ Paper Crafting Classes take place every Saturday, mornings and afternoons, above Cottage Crafts in Craanford.
There is also a kids paper crafting Class on March 6 from 2-4 p.m. Booking is essential. Contact Marina on 086 0616234.
