This is an open meeting, and everyone is welcome.

DANCING

A group of people have come together to organise Adult Dancing in the Arklow Bay Hotel on next Monday night March 8, with music by John Flood, if you are interested in a Social night out, why not go along, as there will be novelty and spot prizes also.

CANINE CLUB

South Wicklow Canine Club are starting their Ring craft training sessions on Wednesday March 24, for 8 weeks from 9-10 p.m. in Arklow.

This is also a good way to socialise your young dogs. All owners must produce on the night up to date cert of vaccinations and have [nasal] kennel cough done two weeks prior to start of classes which are pre booked. Contact Stella on 086 8451459.

HANDBALL

On last Thursday night in the local alley, two former greats of handball met in the Diamond Masters Championship, and what a brilliant game we had between Paddy Lennon and Martin Buggy Wexford, with Lennon coming out on top in the first game on a score of 21 aces to 20.

Then Buggy took the second game on a score of 21 aces to 9, but what a third game it was, with each player exchanging ace for ace until it was 19 all. At this stage each player exchanged hands twice before Buggy took the final game by 21 to 19 aces, a great night for Handball in Coolgreany.

SOCCER

Coolgreany Ladies lost out to Killenagh in the Leinster Junior Cup on a score of 3 goals to 2, with the third Killenagh goal coming well into added time.

Celtic's goals came from Sarah Merrigan (penalty) and Martina Walsh. Keep going girls, you have done well so far.
