Brownies cake sale proves a sweet fundraiser
ENNISCORTHY BROWNIES were the hostesses for a cake, book and toy sale at the Quaker meeting house in Springvalley on Friday evening.
The annual fundraiser, now into its fourth year, attracted a large crowd of customers for the goods on offer.
There were bargains galore, with some of the books sold off for as little as five cent at the end of the night.
The profits from the evening will be used to give the girls a St. Patrick's Day party.
