Very best wishes for a speedy recovery to Ben Kelly from Castlewhite who is undergoing an operation in Temple Street Children's Hospital this week.
KILRUSH DRAMA GROUP
The first performances on the Drama Circuit of Kilrush Drama Group's production of Marina Carr's 'On Raftery's Hill' were staged when they took part in Rush Drama Festival on Friday night last and Kilmuckridge on Monday night. The results of both festivals will be announced next weekend. The rescheduled performance of the play will be staged in St. Brigid's Hall, Carnew on Sunday next March 7 at 8 pm.
Because of its adult theme and strong language, this is not a suitable play for children.
FASHION EXTRAVAGANZA
This event in aid of Ballyroebuck National School extension fund will take place on Thursday March 11 in the Millrace Hotel, Bunclody at 8 p.m
ASSISTED PILGRIMS DRAW
This draw which will take place on the March 5 next and a fantastic array of prizes including a Solid Fuel Stove Value € 2,350, number of trips to Lourdes and numerous cash and other prizes are available at the moment from Eamonn or Mary Doran. Tickets are €2 each or book of six for €10. All proceeds go to Pilgrimage Fund.
