No planes, I'll take trains and automobiles
SOMETHING STRANGE has happened to me since the boys were born - I now throw my head in my hands at the thoughts of flying. There was a time when I would have happily glided over the Gobi Desert, marvelling at the colours of day as they blended into night; thoughts of imminent doom the furthest things from my mind.
The truth hurts: Taoiseach was right
IT CAME as a surprise to me that Enda Kenny's comments about greed and excessive borrowing were met with such anger in recent days but as they say ' the truth hurts'. Now that the bubble has burst however it is clear that the people who were facilitated by 'generous' financial institutions are the victims instead of those who should really be accountable.

Forced into 'a lifestyle choice'
KIM WILDES is in Australia. The 23 year old from Gimont Avenue in Enniscorthy has taken up residence in Melbourne along with her friends Jamie Walsh and Alice O'connor. They all departed Down Under after a great send-off in The Bailey a couple of weeks ago, a gathering which was not at all like the old emigrant 'wakes' of the old days.
